"Personally for me, it was a wonderful experience to attend Ms.Melanie's english classes as she was really caring and interested in student's well being.Almost all of her classes were fun, educational and interactive and the activities that I and many of my classmates participated in her class helped us to bond together well even after many years down the line. I remember one of the instances when I mistakenly plagiarized few of the contents for my english assignment which was something she did not take lightly and although at that moment I did not realize the gravity of my actions, however it speaks volumes about how much as a teacher Ms.Melanie puts much of the emphasis on the development of our ethics and her way of teaching has positively contributed to help me become who I am today.."

Le format Tea and Talk me permet de prendre confiance et d'améliorer mon anglais facilement. Les cours sont ludiques et interactifs avec un sujet différent chaque semaine. In my journey of learning I have stumbled on struggling in expressing my feelings comprehensively, which caused me to have some grammar mistakes. However, when I moved to Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, Mrs. Petre, taught me all my English courses in my freshmen year of high school. Her teaching techniques aren’t traditional. She makes the students love the course and enjoy studying it, instead of just passing it and moving on to the next level. Also, Mrs. Petre, showed me how to use the thesaurus wisely and correctly. She made me love writing and fighting for my beliefs on paper, instead of my voice. Moreover, she made the English classroom interesting. Our curiosity was hungry to feed on knowledge and new information ahead of us in Mrs. Petre’s classroom.
In conclusion, as a Second year Dental Student, my passion for the English literature never stopped growing and it keeps on growing- all thanks to Mrs. Petre.

"Ms. Melanie taught me when I transferred to the Ashgabat International School with no experience in studying subjects in English. Subject she taught included cultural studies earth science,history, language arts, writing, and algebra.
Ms. Melanie was always strategic in the way she taught her classes and in the outputs she expected from students. Yet, at the same time, she always had a personalised approach to every student to match various learning styles. So, the assignments we received in classes were of great variety so every student has a chance to demonstrate learning and at the same time exit their comfort zone— broaden their horizons.
As for personal qualities, Ms. Melanie has a balanced combination of empathy, kindness, care and firmness. In other words, as an educator, she always knew where to give a student a bit more understanding and encouragement in kind words and where to firmly insist on her point."
Remembering back to school days, Mrs. Petre had one of the biggest impacts on my knowledge growth and personality build-up. Although I had only geography with her, throughout the school day Mrs. Petre would teach and give advice on how to improve my English. The classes were always informative and vibrant because she knows how to open up the conversation and make the classes interesting. Mrs. Petre was one of the only few teachers who could connect with students as a friend and offer help on any matter. I remember how I used ask questions about “The Portrait of Dorian Grey” I was reading at the time, and Mrs. Petre has cleared all my doubts; and now its one of my favorite novels.
